Brad Caton and Bob and Shelley Brinker maintained their winning streaks at Overdrive’s Pride & Polish June 28 at the Great West Truck Show in Las Vegas. They were joined by Jeff Botelho, Ryan Danylchuk and Bill Sandvik as Best of Show champs.
For Best of Show Working Bobtail, Botelho’s flamed 2007 Peterbilt 379 tied with the Brinkers’ well-known Legend of the Black Pearl, a tribute to Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” film trilogy and the Brinkers’ late daughter, Amie Knight. Caton, showing Eilen & Sons Trucking’s 2001 Peterbilt 379 and dump trailer, won Best of Show Working Combo.
The Brinkers and Caton also won Best of Show awards at this year’s two prior Pride & Polish events, the 75 Chrome Shop contest in Wildwood, Fla., and the Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship in Louisville, Ky.
